Honey, I shrunk Vera!

Episode 6 - Our Mrs. Reynolds

Honey, I shrunk Vera!

Postby Joatrash » Wed Jan 18, 2012 2:54 pm

Hey gang.

Thought y'all might like this. I had a tiny Vera printed from the files I used when I did my full-scale replica. It's 3d printed, about 7" long and the details are soooo tiny but still very crisp. (I can actually print it up in any size now... smaller for 12" figures or all the way up to 1:1 but that would cost a fortune!)

That is neat.
There is probably a small market for those for the Jayne Tonner dolls I've seen on eBay.

These are 17" figures, not sure what scale that works out to.

That is awesome! If you could somehow get it to market, I wouldn't mind having one in the 6 inch to 1 foot range as a display piece.
May have been on the losin' side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Well, I can let anyone that wants one order a print for themselves... a little 7" like this would be about 50-60 bucks and I'd have to check any other sizes. The great this is that there is NO cleanup when you print stuff... the stuff comes ready for glue and paint.

(Maybe QMx will let me do a few artisan pieces for them. )

60 bucks for a 7 inch print is very reasonable. I'd have to find someone who could paint it with justice, but man that'd be cooler than the other side of the pillow.

I'd like a Vera replica 12" long, myself.
I think it would look cool in my Jayne display.
But, if the price started getting too high, the $60/7" long version would do nicely.

This is really cool.
Could you make these smaller than the 7" version ?
I know some of the detail would be lost but a smaller "keychain" size would be really cool.
Im sure a lot of fans would love a Vera keychain or necklace.
Just a thought.
Thanks
