A Tale of Two Cities

Episode 7 - Jaynestown

A Tale of Two Cities

Postby Yellowjacket » Tue Jan 22, 2013 5:14 am

In the last shots of Jaynestown when River tells Shepherd to "just keep on walkin" I believe the book on the table is a copy of 'A Tale of Two Cities'. Can anyone confirm this with a bluray screen cap?

The last word looks too long to be 'cities', so now I'm wondering if its a book by Gail Carson Levine called 'A Tale of Two Castles', but it's still to blurry on my copy to read it.

I think you were right the first time. It certainly looks like 'Cities'.

Yep,
Cities, not Castles.

Excellent. Now to track down the spine of that particular edition. Every once and awhile I like to discover the obscure little props.

I didn't see the spine, but Amazon has one that might be it. It was published in 2099, hardcover and cost $330.12. At that date, it would look that good as seen on the Serenity.
