Got my Catalyzer yesterday! Thanks Sean for helping me get one :D

I guess we we have to cut off half of the thread on top of the valve and add a copper cap. Any thoughts?
Has anyone found the correct black connector?

I wonder if, ten years from now, these will be the IG88 heads of Firefly collecting! I do believe that ZK found the correct connector over on the RPF.

FINALLY! After years of searching I got my very own IG88 head ... uhhh ... Catalyzer!

I got the last part (the black plug thingy) today and had to finish it immediately. Well, the Catalyzer is made of only three parts so finishing it wasn't that hard.

Thanks to Zombie Killer and to Kurtyboy for sending me the plug!

So not so long ago I used to live in Montana. The town I lived in had one of the largest civilian helicopter repair co.'s in the U.S
Long story short that company who bought the company went bankrupt and the Sheriff's Office is auctioning of all the inventory.
Upto and including A Helicopter Shell - Bell OH-58A, Manuf Model 206A-1, Manuf SN#41626 and boxes and boxes of parts!
Maybe there is a Catalyzer in there somewhere!

Auction is on March 19th

Wow great finds,

After looking forever for one of these parts, the Firefly God's have come through.
Here is mine completed, one of the new and bloody part and a broken one after the explosion. If you notice the same make/model has two different styles, not sure if they made a change to the part at some point, but one has rounded edges (as screen used did) and the other squared edges (my broken one shown).
However as I said they came through for me, I should know 30 Nov if all 3 of the other parts ordered are the correct ones.
