ID Badges

Postby keelhauler » Thu Jun 25, 2009 4:10 pm

Ok, so we all know what the names are on the ID badges that appear in the FFOC (and we all probably own a set, or two).

But, my question is, are those the names that appear on the screenused badges?

I seem to remember someone on the RPF pointing out that the names don't match visually with what's on screen, but the names are too blurry to actually make out. Has anyone been able to get screencaps where the names are readable?

KH,

Page 67 volume 2.

They are a set of screen used ID badges.

You'll notice I say 'a set'. There will have been more than one.
As far as I'm aware, and I did ask, they are the same.

This was partly discussed on RPF. I had noticed that the names didn't match on screen while I was working on the ones I did at cost. I've not re-checked it on Blu-Ray though to see if they can be read.

Mal's:

Zoe's:

Jayne's:

Wash's the same:

Also there were badges with a hangy down part that was used in the "ID readers"

I really need to check the Blu-Ray to see if I can gather more info cause I'd love to have the hanging down part too.

Which isn't to say yours aren't the real deal, just that there appear to have been more than one set made.

Thanks Namebrand. It's nice to know I haven't started making up false memories (yet). :)

Yeah, bust out the bluray!! I'm really curious about the names and I'd like a set with the hanging down part, too.

It looks like that top Jayne badge has been photoshopped in the black stripe/ name area. Not positive, but it looks that way with how much sharper the black stripe is than the rest.

Sorry to reopen an old thread, but ... does anyone know anything about Simon's ID badge? It is visible when he is reviving that patient, but I've never seen anyone mention it. :?

A clear, head-on close-up image would be nice :)
