EMT costume stuff

Postby keelhauler » Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:13 am

I don't know if everyone already knows about this, but I found this site that has a few EMT graphics on it. I figure some folks here could make good use of them.

I think I just found the correct vest.
(If you remove nearly a decade of product development)
http://www.galls.com/google/style.html?assort=general_catalog&cat=&style=EV004

EDIT:
Product development has changed the reflective strips from a series of squares to alternating triangles. If you want screen accuracy, you'll have to find someone carrying the old style.

Looks like that's the correct vest.
I got mine from ebay. There are still some available there but not in blue.

Nice find

Mal and Jayne are each wearing one of these.

And this is the right hat.

Sizes run large, so be careful!

And the jumpsuit.

EDIT:
This also has changed. The screen-used jumpsuits had Velcro closing 'belts' as closures around the bottoms of the legs. Current stock no longer has these.

And this is as close as I've got to the right hat.

Looks like the costuming dept might have added the 'ball cap' semicircle we see on the front of the screen used ones.

:)
Mike,
My girlfriend is a med tech and wears scrubs to work every day. She's been wanting to do Ariel Ambulance crew costumes for a while.

Now we can. *shrug*

But I will totally add the two locations you've provided to my 'places to see' list on the next trip out to California.

 Wearing Jayne's uniform! :o
I would never wear a screen used one, unless it would get me some trim.
