Crix, where did you find a medium suit for $30? I could only find them for $120, and I can't find the vest anywhere.

I picked up a 15 mm myself yesterday. He confirmed for me that it's an exact match to the screen used, but didn't send photo evidence to back it up, so fingers crossed.

I noticed that one, unfortunately I need a medium tall. I've bought and not been able to use enough Wash suits to know that the regular height onesie will never work for me.

As for the vest, there was a large last week that I considered, until I saw that it was made for a 54"-56" chest. What the heck is that about? That's like an XXXXL.

Also, what are peopel doing for patches these days? The original link in this thread is dead, and sci fi geeks charges something like $50 for the whole set, not sure if the sleeve or chest patch are correct, they only have one patch for both.

back to the vest.... I was looking for that blue one for a long time. I was considering buying an orange one and trying to paint it blue... not sure if that would work or not.. but something to think about

The orange could be painted, might take a few coats. I think there's some different stitching going on on some of them, and again, that sizing is ridiculous. By that scale, I'd need to find an XXS to get the fit of a medium.

I don't know why, but the listing for the trocar got completely wiped from ebay. I got mine in though, and it's dead on, the exact one Jayne had in his pocket. So I guess I'm collecting this costume backwards.

What are some good search terms for the hat? I'm coming up empty on the correct pattern.

So I'm drawing high res versions of all the EMT patches to make some better replicas than the ones currently available. I've got good reference photos of the screen used patches from Jayne's and Mal's uniforms to work from, but I've hit a bit of a snag. The text is proving impossible to clean up, it'll have to be redone. Is there any chance one of you guys knows what font they might have used before I actually draw these things in Illustrator?

Oh, and I picked up the orange vest from ebay and some blue cordura in LA, I'll be cannibalizing the original to make an accurate vest. I also got that Galls coverall after the seller posted some measurements and it fits perfectly. This thing is coming together really quickly.
