As with many I put a lot of money into the app to get all.
I am not sure if they waited too long but they did remove the option to buy new card packs quite a while ago.
Since it was long clear that there will be no other game I have made my peace and I am ok with it, as long as the app still works and I can use it as a map for my RPG sessions all is fine for me.
That is more than I can say about some of the Kickstarters I backed.

Joatrash, Jan--wow.

I guess if you want control over your work, you pretty much have to go into business yourself as an artist.

And avoid subscription services like the subscription service that replaced disc releases of Photoshop. If you unsubscribe from it, you can't open your original artwork if it's a photoshop file.

YOUR work, HELD HOSTAGE.

It's rather like saying to Bouguereau or Monet or Whistler: You slapped the paint on the canvas to make the original art, but you don't own the canvas. We're taking the canvas back and leaving the paint on the floor. Sucks to be you.

THAT is why I'm hanging on to my discs/software. Until it no longer runs on my machines. The day comes when it doesn't, I'll go to something like GIMP or Corel's Painter/Paint Shop Pro. They are still offered on disc and they are far less than you-know-who.

I often think of Fireflyprops as an open resistance to the Alliance. We've been doing what the license holders can't do for years. Original ideas.

I like that viewpoint.

We are the Resistance!

I most definitely agree! For me as a patch collector, no one has come close to patch releases.
