Simon's sickbay couch

Well, not really a prop as such, but...
I finally got it home.

Cost me $1,400.00 just to ship it's 300lb ass across the pond, but it's home.

Simon's medical couch from Serenity's Sickbay finally made it to the collection, my living room to be specific

It's bloody enormous!

Wow! Congrats on the pick up Badger!
Jayne: (mock reading Simon's journal) "Dear Diary...today I was pompous and my sister was crazy." (flips page) "Today, we were kidnapped by hill folk never to be seen again. It was the best day ever."

Actually bought it about a year ago.
It stayed in Robstyle's garage for a while, then a warehouse, then a cargo plane, now my house.

It's huge!

Nice addition to the collection, Badger. :)
May have been on the losin' side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Thanks GW,
There was a time I didn't think I could stretch to the shipping, but I pulled my belt it.

It's an impressive piece, very heavy, robust. The fittings are all machined or cast and machined stainless steel. The base has an electric motor which drives a hydraulic pump for up and down functions. It also has a small lever on the base which, when released, allows it to swivel smoothly around 90 degrees. Quite a piece of work.
It even has birthing stirrups

It really does weigh over 300lbs. It's a genuine antique.

I'm pleased because there was only one of these and I managed to save it. Every major character from the crew has been treated on it with the exception of Inara. It was where Mal gave himself the Adrenalin, where Kaylee's bullet was removed, where Book was treated when near fatally shot, where Zoe was taken when she got blown up, where Jayne said 'Pine OK?'...

It's a beast, but I'm happy to have it.
