A few images from the party . . . I made an extra logo to go on the outside, cut apart an extra Blue Sun Cola logo, pasted the Chinese characters on the side and the blue sun on the front. Works well! Keelhauler's long label worked great over the top to hold the box shut.

Fantastic! The box looks like a Blue Sun type box sent to the Rim, and using Wal-Mart bars, fit the big conglomerate that Blue Sun is, like WM.

Cool! :D Looks great. Especially that super shiny Keelhauler ribbon! 8-) ;) Nice work Elisabeth.

[credit for the ribbon goes to Yellowjacket who took my avatar/logo and made it useful  ]

Looks fantastic, Elisabeth!

I'm curious how that went over at your party?
A few years back, for our second PA Browncoats shindig, I made up Blue Sun labels for
the Pepsi and Mountain Dew in 20oz bottles, and the plastic plates and cups.
I thought they were pretty cool, but most folks weren't even interested enough
to take the extra soda home.

I'd love to have a Firefly prop fanatics shindig, but unfortunately,
that would mean collecting one or two dozen folks from all over the globe.
(Although that is one thing I'm finding enticing about the Browncoat Ball with its "Prop Museum".

Actually, they went over really well. This may have something to do with the fact that a good percentage of those invited are theater people - we spend our lives on half built sets and when everything finally gets completed and we add props it's Really Cool. Also, the soda was made extra cool by the fact that we all attend a small college where we're on contract not to consume alcohol. Because of that, the next best thing is to take soda and label it as an alcoholic beverage. (I swear, we have just as much fun with pretending to drink as we would actually drinking. Ahhh drama people) So that went over very well. Things like Wanted Posters (hysterical to make!) were also a big hit, as well as ships papers filled out absolutely absurdly.

There are some parties that include many Browncoats from all over the place. The Saturday Night Shindig at Dragon*Con in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend is one.

I went to it two years ago and it was Shiny. 8-)

Am at Dragon*Con this year and hope to get there a might earlier this time, as the shindig was halfway through last time, due to an Aliens Legacy dinner I was at beforehand which ran over a tad.
