If you know enough about Gore, it reads like fiction.

I'm confused, is this The Outer Limits, or The Twilight Zone?

One line really is odd for a company as said by Gore, "OUR GREATEST ASSET IS OUR IGNORANCE."

Actually, like many half-truths spoken in public, the hint at the truth shows through.
I sense a very dismissive tone in Andy Gore's statements about hiring technical talent.
QMx has cut a veritable swath through the available talent in the Firefly world,
using and discarding that talent in such a way as to have only benefited the fans,
that QMx claims such love for, in a tiny fraction of the amazing potential.
To QMx paraphrase Marie Antoinette in speaking of the little people,
"Let them hang posters."

Well, at least QMx is no longer claiming to be a prop replica company.
As long as they don't mess with the hobbyist propmakers, I'm not really complaining.
Hey, they wanna sell swag, let 'em sell swag.

Incredible.

He actually believes his own press.

1/6th scale 'Verse action figures,
1/3rd scale 'Verse weapons collection,
The Big Bang Theory license,

Wow. Wonder where he got THOSE ideas....

"“Nobody appreciates how valuable the license is but us,” says Gore"

'Valuable' in the lucrative sense, not in the potential to true Browncoats sense.

I didn't know that they shut down the Serenity edition. How many did they make? How many products edition shortages does that make for them?

They didn't complete the 'Ship's Papers' run or the Mal holster.

Allegorically speaking, probably.
