The question is, what do you not want?

Souvenirs, like they sell in truck stops, and souvenirs shops.

I like the above list, reading my mind, please stay out.

Your head. Me out. Got it.

Hey, at least I didn't take the words out of your mouth. So unsanitary .... ;)

Heyo Jullian:

We of ffprops.net were engaged a few years back by Andy at QMx to offer suggestions
that we would both want and that we thought would be economically viable for QMX.
So we did a poll:
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=563
In the order of popularity,
Jayne's Boo (Resin and high end metal/wood version)
Serenity pop-up, light up grenades
Tall cards (round) and rules for play
Jayne T-Shirts (and we were thinking the whole enchilada, not just a few that had already been done)
etc.

When it became apparent that QMx wasn't interested in our suggestions,
the asking for our input kinda went away.
QMx has been very successful as a swag company, but this is firefly props.net, not fireflyswag.net;
so we haven't had a whole lot to do with QMx in quite awhile.

QMx did consider the 'Tall Cards' at one point, but kept asking us as fans if we would prefer a 'canon' set (which they said was unplayable) or a playable set (which according to QMx, wouldn't be canon). We said (both here and on Facebook) that we'd take either, simply to have a tall cards set. They made neither set, so that's what our feedback got us.

Conversations with QMx tend to go like this...

QMx: "What would you guys like?"

FFP Fans: "We'd love some replicas from the show and we've made a very concise list of our preferred replicas in order of popularity, so it's really easy to see what you should make."

QMx: "So a replica of a cast member? Maybe something in vinyl?"

FFP Fans: "Noo...you see they're ordered by popularity with Jayne's 'Boo' being ver..."

QMx: "I'm thinking 'Kaylee Eating a Strawberry'..."

FFP Fans: "That's not a replica. That's a collectible based on a theme."

QMx: "Vinyl is big right now."

FFP Fans: "I don't disagree, but you asked abo..."

QMx: "So a vinyl Kaylee figurine then?"

FFP Fans: "Well, not that that isn't great, but if you're going to do vinyl, do the Han Solo in carbonite thing because it's more fitting as a..."

QMx: "Kaylee it is."

...and so forth...infinitum.

The QMx website offers 'careers'. Has anyone worked there long enough to have what constitutes a 'career'? I mean in the standard sense, not the prostitution sense.

Career.
Verb.
To hurtle headlong, crashing indiscriminately into things along the way.
