Threads regarding QMx and their line of licensed Firefly / Serenity stuff

Next I think they should do a "big wheel" version. with big goofy looking wheals, and large enough for a small child to set in the middle of it, and push it around with their feet. If Qmx makes it, they would probably only charge $30,000. each (on sale) But who needs a new car, when they can get their kid something they can be board with in no time. Wall, they are at it, they might as well, make a kid size mal costume for Halloween, and just charge a couple thousand for it.

Well, says they'll do 'customisations' - think i'll ask for a custom unbuilt/unpainted one for a reasonable price...

It's nice to see QMX added all the details they left off the BDR, such as the ladder to the hatch and the piping on the rear or the ship. (only slightly bitter) Based on the fit and finish of my BDR, if someone were to buy this they should ask for update pics of the build as it went, to catch any issues they see early -- for the twice the price of the old one they really should do better with seams and light leaks.

I seems that modelers are not building these, since we know how to fill seams, and no light leaks. And, at the big money cost, it should be done right, and well detailed.

For over 7 grand?
Damn right it should be done properly.
I said I'd do my best. I didn't say it would be any good.
