it's merchandise, not a prop, so not really my cup of tea. they do appear to be pretty nice quality, though. i suppose you could do worse for $10 a deck.

First, I love Ben's work. I do. He's always had an excellent variety of style. I think fans will buy them and enjoy them.

That said, I wish the cards were in-Verse, more than fan oriented. The cards are a great tribute to the show, but I wish they were 'Independent Issue' or 'Firefly Ship works' or 'Blue Sun' cards in some specific way. Anything within the Verse was that was tied to a single theme. That way, they'd feel like they were in the Verse, not about it.

Still, I'll probably get a set. I like Ben's work enough to support one of the few artists ever to test the employee longevity at QMx.

I think they are a nice little piece of swag; certainly worth ten bucks.
Now, if I can just remember to order a set before they are discontinued.....
