The only thing I'm interested in are the challenge coins. The rest?

Meh.

It only makes me think, "I betcha I could do that in Photoshop. Why bother buying it when I can *make* it myself." (And choose my favorite colors, change it over to my favorite fonts, decide the color tee shirt, etc. etc. etc.)

It's never a good sign for a store's bottom line when I start thinking along those lines.

Andy! Look! Quick, an ungrasped straw.
I said I'd do my best. I didn't say it would be any good.

Actually, this is one of the few shirts that makes sense from a marketing point of view. Everybody loves Wash. The online game predates the film. Wash Lives. It's clever enough that I can't argue it.

Sadly, knowing that John has designed multiple versions of the deadfish shirt makes me no less disappointed just the same.

I may or may not end up with (yet another) "Wash Lives" shirt; all depends on the timing of certain RL events.
But THIS

Is the one that REALLY frosts my bacon.
I refuse to believe that a "Wash Lives" shirt will somehow be more wildly profitable than a cool "real" Jayne shirt.
I can see where not EVERY Jayne shirt might be selected for replication,
but I still believe a solid line of always-available Jayne T-shirts should be a steady seller for years.

We know how easy it is to make a teeshirt, T-Shirt Transfers, graphics, printer, shirt, and iron. If I was into billboard art (in relation to my size), then I would go fer it. Besides, there is a T-Shirt Shop 5 miles from home.
