So, we have a supplier for the grips.
I've satisfied myself about quality, now I've had three pairs of test grips made by them.

We're settling finance today, paying a deposit, and the walnut billets get shipped to them tomorrow.

Onward!

Man, that was bad

Thew walnut wood went out this morning.
I'll have news in a day or two about when the grips will be ready.

Don't count on it being any less than three weeks, OK?

More news as it happens.

UPDATE!

The supplier has said he's got the walnut wood billets safe and sound.
There's one tweak they need to make to the CAD pattern, just 1mm, then a test set will be machined for me to fit to the model.
After that we'll be clear to run the grips and get the project closer to finish.

Cheers,
