Whatever you mean, I'm already doing the can't-wait-til-this-is-done-dance(tm).
May have been on the losin' side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I hope people don't see it as the "I-really-need-to-pee-dance" ;)

But I agree, I'm excited :)

I appreciate it, Scott.

I'm looking forward to this getting dome too.

You guys have been amazingly patient through the trials of this project.

Waiting for the test set to come back and then the grips will be run.

Cheers,

Badger

Great news about the grips!
The thread has gotten a bit long, but I seem to remember reading that the final assembly was going to be done in batches by geographical location. Once the grips are completed, how will things progress from that point?
Will the patination be done before the groups of parts are sent out? Or is that being done at each different location, too?

Once all of them are assembled, Badger will personally brandish each one with a flourish and say, 'Bwwaaaaaaaah', in his most Malish impression of Mal. Then he'll pistol whip a dangerous redhead and threaten an old lady to get back some money.

Then, and only then, will they be properly finished and ready for shipping.

Yeah, I can do that

When the grips are done, they'll be sanded, stained and sealed. The other parts are patinated and set up in sub-assemblies. They'll be shipped out to Namebrand and he'll do the final assembly, fit and finish. The finished 47As will finally be shipped to our USA and Canada clients.
I'll finish all the UK models myself.
