The Model 47A

Postby Badger » Thu Oct 29, 2009 12:14 am

Decided to start a new thread to make a clean break from the old one.

I've given the subject a lot of thought. The 47A must go ahead, I owe it to you guys and to myself. Too much work has been done already.

The other thing is that I find I'm simply not willing to shoulder the entire financial responsibility, in light of recent events.

Goodwolf will start a new post here soon. It will have list with 47 spaces. There will only be forty-seven of the 47As available.
There will be a total of twenty five spare magazines available.

Now for the bad news.
The cost for each 47A will cost GBP£477.00 payable via Paypal in Pounds Sterling. I know this is a little higher than forecast, but it does include 4% Paypal fees and shipping for the 47A components to the USA for final assembly. However, it doesn't include final shipping within the USA or from the USA to Canada.
I'll ship UK and European orders from here, at actual cost, on a case by case basis.

Spare mags will be GBP£49.99 each.

Payments should be made via Paypal to; deborah5937@yahoo.co.uk

Model 47As will need to be paid for in full, in advance. The due date for payment is the 15th of November. A 50% deposit will secure a 47A if you have trouble with the full amount by the due date. The balance will need to be settled before shipping, though.
Our mate Goodwolf will keep the list updated.

Delivery will be as soon as humanly possible. Please bear in mind that I'm at the mercy of the various component suppliers.
I will keep the board updated with pics and news.

First of all: I'm glad this is still a go! I can fully understand the new approach, and I'm sure others will agree. I don't feel bad about paying up front, so Goodwolf - if you make that new list, better make sure I'm on it! ;)

Thank you very much guys.

The first post is edited to show the Paypal payment account. It's the usual deborah5937@yahoo.co.uk account. Please send paypal payments there and be sure to include your board name so we know who's who.

the list will go up later today.

Cheers,

Badger

We have time 'til November 15th to pay, right? I can't cough it up all right now, but will be able to by mid November. I could pay the deposit now though, I really want to be in on that!

Thank you very much.

The project progresses well. Two sets of sets of test waxes have been sent to the foundry and we're having them run in the appropriate metals.
