Side note:
My hubby and I are already trying to figure out the best day to do a "Pot Sticker" party with our gaming firends, preferably during a game. Saturday the 21st is looking good. Pot Stickers are very easy to make and boiling them (as shuǐjiǎo) is even easier than frying them (as guōtiē or "pot stickers").

I would love to learn how to replicate that 3D text effect in Photoshop. I'm sure there's a method I just haven't twigged to yet.

BTW, is that a picture of the "Pillars of Creation" from the Eagle Nebula shot by the Hubble Telescope? Just wondering. I love the BG floral pattern, too. Especially the red one. You REALLY NAILED IT with the RED ONE!!!

I do my 3D text effect in Illustrator. It's a little buggy, and this one required some retouching in Photoshop.

Would this work better for you? 3D Retro Text Creator It's a freebie download and I snagged it before I realized it was geared for CS6+. I've got CS4 so, well, it's not entirely compatible. But I thought it was worth hanging on to it.

And dang it! Carina Nebula was my first choice and then I second-guessed myself out of it. LOL!
