A Sincere Cry for HELP!

Postby taimdala » Thu Mar 16, 2017 3:10 am

(Posting it here, too, so it doesn't get overlooked)

Guys, I swear, I'm losing my mind.

I *remember* telling someone on this board SOMEWHERE that I would be happy to do a transcription of something online ... but now I can't find it or the person I was supposed to do this for OR the link to the material I'm supposed to transcribe.

Was that here or on one of the many FB groups I'm subscribed to?

Please help me out and jog my insufficient memory. Pretty please?

I just hope I haven't missed the deadline for the transcription.

HELP!!!

(Thank you!)

I guess you have already gone through all your posts here?

Thanks for asking Jan.

I did check my posts. I just clicked on View Your Posts and go down the list of all the threads the search engine pulls up. Of course, I need to ignore the ones that go into last year---this was recent.

Also, if it helps, I wasn't the only one who volunteered, but when I mentioned I transcribed an entire RPG campaign, the other person said he'd bow to my experience and withdraw his offer.

And damned if I can't remember the thread!

I swear, I need to write this stuff down. If I could remember that I told myself to write this down, I wouldn't be in my current fix.

*head desk!*

That was for me for the BCB.
If you can't find the link, I'll email it to you.

Thanks,

Thank you Mike!

Was the initial request in a thread here? Or was it elsewhere online?

It was on the BCB Planning Committee Yahoo Group.
So that is why you couldn't find it here.

You made it too easy for Mary, I was enjoying hearing her saying, "Come out, come out, where ever you are."

Well, since it is something I want for; well, from the Browncoat Ball website:

We’re still finalizing plans for the weekend, but here’s what we do know. It’ll be Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13, 2017.

The weekend starts with a welcome event at the historic Gettysburg Train Station –
where Lincoln arrived before giving his famous Gettysburg Address.
And that’s just the beginning of the fun.

For history buffs, there’ll be the options of tours of the Gettysburg Battlefield, the town of Gettysburg, and even a candlelit ghost walk.
Or, if you’d rather, there will be panels about the costuming and props of Firefly and Serenity.
There’ll even be the option of hanging out at the hotel, playing games, and just socializing with other Browncoats from around the world.

I know it is hard to imagine, but I have something to do with the costuming and prop presentation,
and the transcript is for that.
