I can only answer questions for now.

My agreement with Titan forbids me to post any pics of new acquisitions until after publication of the new book 3.

I'll try and answer anything I can though.

man I wish that book would come out already!!!

When I look at how they cut the front cover, it looks like that arc was traced from the bottom radius of the franklin unit. can you confirm this?

What does yours have in it for a screen? just a stand in graphic? or a green screen for post?

Thanks.

They do seem to have copied the arc, yes.

The screen at present is the standard grey LCD screen original to the unit. I expect they only would have stuck a piece of green in there if the contrast of the grey screen and the surround were not clear enough to comp the animation in there cleanly. The contrast looks pretty good, so they may not have had to.

There was no stand-in graphic that I'm aware of.

Cheers,

My Fellowes arrived the other day.

That part number on the RPF must be wrong. or there are 2 different styles of these.

The one I got has stright sides on the PDA tray, the right one has flared out side walls.
and the bottom matches the curve of the Franklin.

Would've been nice to have repeated this:

The 98040 would be close enough for most people.
But if you want to be completely screen accurate, it's the 98084.

Yep, just read that.

Great, now I have a too small tin and the wrong damn keypad case.

I've got one hell of a "not right" collection going on here.
