Once I get the basic shape placeholders in, I'll make them jive with Mike's measurements.

The bar itself is kind of wonky, almost like the mold was soft and over-filled a bit so that it bulged in places.
(This is best seen in the end-on picture I took.)
As a note, use the 17 degree-22 minute angle measurement in precedence over the outside dimensions.
That changes one of the dimensions by 0.006" on a side.
I think from a "builder's" standpoint it is more important to maintain the angle.

Good Luck,
Mike

Given the dimensions of the upper surface and the angular bulge in the middle, along with the height difference in between, the angle should fall into place naturally.

Geometrically speaking.
May have been on the losin' side, still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Do we have a translation for the Chinese characters in the center oval?

I'll double check, but I believe it's Tong Meh, which means alliance.

* ??
* [ 2: seen upside-down ]
* Tong2meng2
* Alliance
* 1. on metal chest pin of Dortmunder captain, somewhat visible in his close-ups
* 2. on bottom of salvaged brick, somewhat visible as Mal turns it over

* tong2meng2: alliance; tong2 together; meng2 alliance

How's this?
Still needs tweaking to jive with Mike's measurements, but the basics seem to be there.

I have a friend that is willing to cast these in food stuffs, chocolate would be the most simple option but fudge would match the consistency of what we see on screen a little better I think. I plan to build a nice master to send to him.

Eventually I'm hopin' to make my own foodstuff out of these.
US MREs have a high protein bar in them that I think would work perfectly if I were to crush and recast it into one of these molds.
