Has anyone found a good source for accurate cards? The only ones I have been able to acquire came ebay, but that was like a couple years ago.

I know someone who has a set of screen used cards ;-)

Were the correct cards ever found? My set has the wrong amount of characters on one side.

The one in the image i posted with the measurements is screen accurate. I have only ever found one source for them (ebay). The vast majority of the ones out there are inaccurate in one way or another. The sets on ebay right now are mine, btw. I thought about offering them here but figured everyone would want screen accurate ones, so I put them on ebay instead. If anyone's interested let me know and maybe we can strike a deal.

I have several screen accurate cards that I am considering parting with but I haven't decided yet.

My 'almost accurate' cards are good enough at the moment. I still have hope that someday I will acquire a pair of screen used cards ;)

Well keelhauler I am interested. The ebay listing reminded me that I still was in need of some cards.

The cards used to be everywhere in Los Angeles' China Town. Im told by many shop owners and resellers the reason they are not in abundance anymore is the fact they are changed yearly. They are after all astrological cards. A coupe years back I went to the same shops the prop masters went to in search of the cards and found only handfuls of the proper ones and slews of newer and even older versions. I had a few screen used cards in hand for comparisons. few months back I was again in China Town for another work project and noticed the lack of cards all together.

Since the renewed interest in the cards and the "rules" for Tall Card, I present to you: all my links for card outlets, templates, and rules.

This is the grandaddy site. Everyone refers to it and it works about half the time.

This set is cute, but not quite the feel I was looking for.

This has been the most complete set I've seen, also, it's paper. I have blank flash cards/smaller size playing cards I plan on making into a full deck with Photoshop and sticky-back paper for both sides. The deck will be a tad thick, but usable. I can't imagine my metal set will be very shuffle-able.

Shopping sites: these are the cards that I was able to finally get and sent out to some of you fellow Browncoats:
http://www.sunriseimports.com.au/shop/o ... -4278.html

And here's one that has a MUCH larger order requirement, but the cards may be more accurate, depending on what you want and how much you want to spend. Also, you can customize the engraving if you order a lot of them.
I got a quote, minimum order is 1000 cards each design, $390 USD for 1000 of one design, plus $80 freight charge, grand total for 2000 total cards in 2 designs: $860 USD.

That's everything I've got so far. Happy crafting!

in the links above, fan based version of the game appears to used the same 6 fruit based suits. is this based on someone seeing the reverse of all of the actual circular disk on the table used in that scene ?
